I have just returned from Tasmania and have lots to share. We did so much each day that I will be posting about each day in order of the days.
Ok, so Monday. Getting up at 3:30 and going to the airport in the middle of the night is never fun, but the excitement diluted the sleepy feeling. We landed just at sunrise and went into the city. Our first stop was MONA, which is a world-class art gallery on the banks of the Derwent. We took the ferry up the river and got a nice view of the city and surroundings along the way. The art in MONA was very abstract and aggressive but was still an enjoyable day. It was Easter Monday so everything else was closed in the city. We made it back into the city exhausted and in bed by 8.
